DWYM stands for „Do What You Must“.
It started out with the introduction of What’sApp’s new Smiley, the „Sergeant“.
The technically correct name is:
Saluting Face Emoji
Meaning A yellow face with its right hand saluting. Used as a sign of respect.
Saluting Face was approved as part of Unicode 14.0 in 2021 and added to Emoji 14.0 in 2021.
